About MyPlace Hi! I'm the founder of MyPlace, the guest engagement platform for hospitality. MyPlace captures every guest automatically through WiFi and other touchpoints, then turns visits into five-star reviews and repeat business. We serve 500+ locations worldwide, mostly restaurants, bars, hotels, and entertainment venues in the US.

We're a small company. In 2023, we were accepted into the TinySeed accelerator program and raised seed funding. We're growing, our customers stay with us, and we're now making our first sales hire.

MyPlace is a fully remote company. This role is 100% remote, based in Latin America and working US hours. All internal meetings and customer calls happen online.

Why You Should Apply This is a chance to join as team member #5 and our first Account Executive . You'll work directly with the founder and take over the sales conversations he runs today.

You won't start from zero. Leads are already coming in, we have a sales process in place, and the tools are built. Your job is to take ownership of the opportunities, run great sales conversations, and close deals.

You'll also help us improve the sales process as we grow. As you prove the model, we'll increase lead flow and build the sales team around you.

About the Role We're looking for an experienced SMB Account Executive who loves selling over the phone, works fast, and knows how to close.

Our outbound email engine and SDR book meetings onto your calendar, while inbound demo requests and free trials come in every week. Your job is to run the calls, manage your pipeline, follow up, and close.

Our customers are restaurant owners, marketing managers, and operators. Plans start at $49 per location per month. Some deals are a single location, while others involve larger groups with multiple locations.

This is a high-volume, phone-first sales role. Many deals can close after a single 15–30 minute conversation, without ever needing a screenshare. Others require a focused demo, additional follow-ups, or conversations with multiple decision-makers.

You need to be comfortable with both. We want someone who can keep simple deals moving quickly, but also knows how to manage more involved opportunities without losing momentum.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities There are four main parts to the role:

• Sales Conversations: Run 15–30 minute calls, primarily over the phone. Ask good questions, understand how the business operates, uncover problems worth solving, and explain how MyPlace can help. You'll need to be comfortable selling without a screen and confident asking for the sale when the customer is ready.

• Demos and Deal Management: Know when a conversation is enough and when a customer needs to see the product. Run focused screenshare demos when needed, handle objections, and work with multiple stakeholders on larger opportunities. Every deal is different, and you'll need to adapt your approach.

• Follow-Up and Closing: Establish clear next steps, send useful recap emails, and follow up by phone and email to keep opportunities moving. You'll own each deal from the first conversation through to a decision, rather than relying on prospects to come back to you.

• Pipeline and Handover: Manage a high volume of opportunities, keep our CRM (Attio) up to date, and hand won deals over to our onboarding lead. Our dialer, call notes, and AI-drafted follow-ups are already built to help you spend more time selling and less time on admin.

Requirements You'll have the leads, process, and tools you need, along with weekly call reviews and direct coaching from the founder.

Here's what we're looking for:

• 2+ years of closing experience selling SaaS or other B2B solutions to small businesses, with responsibility for your own quota and pipeline.

• Strong phone-selling skills. You're confident running discovery, explaining value, handling objections, and closing deals without relying on a presentation or lengthy demo.

• Experience with high-volume, short-cycle sales. You're comfortable managing lots of smaller opportunities simultaneously and know how to keep deals moving quickly.

• Good commercial judgment. You can recognize when a customer is ready to buy, when they need a demo, and when a deal requires more conversations or decision-makers.

• Excellent follow-up habits. You don't let deals go quiet. You're proactive about booking next steps, following up, and getting decisions.

• Highly organized and process-driven. You keep your CRM current, manage your time well, and use technology and AI tools to work efficiently.

• Native or near-native English. You'll be speaking with US restaurant owners and operators every day.

• Coachable and open to feedback. You're comfortable reviewing your calls, learning from them, and continuously improving.

• Reliable, fast internet connection and a suitable remote working environment.

Nice to Haves

• Experience selling to restaurants, hospitality businesses, or other owner-operated local businesses.

• Experience selling both single-location and multi-location solutions.

• Based in a time zone that overlaps fully with US business hours.

• Strong SDRs looking to move into an AE role are welcome, provided you've already gained meaningful experience running sales conversations and closing your own deals.

• Experience selling an unknown product, at a small startup brand, in a competitive market

Benefits

• $3,000–$5,000 USD per month OTE, depending on experience.

• Fully remote, full-time, long-term role.

• Foundational position as our first Account Executive, working directly with the founder.

• Steady lead flow from inbound and outbound, with room to scale as you grow.

• Established sales process, dialer, CRM, and AI tools so you can focus on selling, not admin.

• Weekly coaching and call reviews to develop your skills.

• 20 days PTO.

How to Apply We'd love to hear about your actual sales experience, not just read a résumé.

Along with your application, tell us a little about the types of customers you've sold to, the typical deal sizes and sales cycles you've managed, and how much of your selling was done over the phone.

We're especially interested in people who've consistently closed small-business deals through strong conversations, good follow-up, and a well-managed pipeline.
