🚀 Join our team as a Senior Platform Engineer – Databricks & Azure!

At Acsys, we are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer based in Argentina to join a global project with a leading multinational company 🌍. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about platform engineering, Databricks, Azure, automation, and developer enablement. This is not a traditional Data Engineer role: you will build and evolve the platform foundations, automation, and self-service tooling that multiple product teams rely on to build and operate data solutions at scale.

🛠️ What are we looking for?

• Databricks Platform Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Databricks in enterprise environments, including workspaces, clusters, jobs, Unity Catalog, security and permissions, environment management, and operations.

• Microsoft Azure: Solid experience designing and operating solutions on Azure, including networking, identity and access management (Entra ID/RBAC), storage, monitoring, security, and governance controls.

• Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar tools to automate provisioning, configuration, and environment setup.

• CI/CD & GitHub: Strong experience with GitHub Actions, branching strategies, pull request workflows, and automated deployment pipelines across multiple teams.

• Software Engineering: Strong development skills in Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript to build maintainable platform services, automation frameworks, and API integrations.

• Data Platform Operations: Experience operating large-scale enterprise data platforms and supporting multiple teams within a shared platform ecosystem.

• AI-Assisted Engineering: Practical experience using AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot or Factory.ai to produce production code, with strong judgment to review their output critically.

• Problem Solving & Ownership: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across Databricks, Azure, and GitHub, working in small pods with end-to-end ownership under a Kanban model.

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience building developer self-service capabilities

• Integration of cloud-native services with Databricks

• AI/ML platform operations and governance

• Observability and platform reliability practices

• Databricks or Azure certifications

• Experience in global, distributed engineering teams

🎁 Benefits

• 100% remote work

• Competitive salary in USD

• Connectivity allowance

• English classes

• Discounted Medicus health plan

• Birthday day off

• 15 days of vacation

• Meal card

• Discounts at universities (UCES and UTN) and Udemy (client)

• Training opportunities and more!

If you're passionate about Databricks, Azure, platform engineering, and automation, and would like to be part of a collaborative team working on global-scale environments, we'd love to receive your CV in English! 🚀
