Business Development Manager (IB & Volume Growth)

I. About the Role

Bullbit is a Perpetual DEX delivering a CEX-like trading experience: Passkey login (no seed phrase), gasless trading (no gas token needed), and 1-click multichain deposits.

We're hiring a BD Manager to own and grow trading volume through a portfolio of Introducing Brokers (IBs), high-net-worth traders, and trading communities.

This is a senior, ownership-level role. We're looking for someone who already has traction in the market: an existing book of traders, IBs, or communities they can bring or activate, not someone starting a network from zero. You'll also help build out the BD function and may mentor junior BD hires.

II. Key Responsibilities

1. Recruit, onboard, and manage a portfolio of Introducing Brokers (IBs) and affiliates, structuring commission/rev-share deals that are fee-positive for the platform

2. Identify and personally onboard high-net-worth traders and whales, negotiating VIP terms, fee tiers, and rebates

3. Build and scale relationships with trading communities and signal groups (Telegram/Discord trading groups, copy-trade communities, local trader networks), turning community leaders into de facto IBs who drive recurring group volume.

4. Own exchange-level KPIs: trading volume, open interest, maker/taker fee mix, liquidity depth, VIP tier structures, referral/rebate economics, using these numbers to drive partnership strategy and decisions

5. Structure and negotiate a range of deal types (rev-share, fixed rebate, hybrid, token-based, milestone-linked) and manage the full partnership lifecycle from outreach through long-term retention.

6. Build and manage the partner/IB pipeline (tracking, funnel stages, reporting), and set targets and structure for the BD team.

7. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Finance to design referral programs, trading competitions, and IB incentive structures.

8. Represent Bullbit at local industry events, AMAs, and community engagements when needed

III. Requirements

1. 3+ years of BD/growth experience in crypto exchanges, perp DEXs, forex, or CFD brokerage, specifically in IB/affiliate/volume-growth functions (not general partnerships)

2. Demonstrable track record: you can point to specific IBs recruited, traders onboarded, or volume you've directly driven at a previous platform

3. Existing network: real, activatable contacts among traders, IBs, or trading communities Working fluency in exchange economics: maker/taker fees, rebate structures, VIP tiering, volume-based incentive design.

4. Strong negotiation instincts; comfortable structuring milestone-based deals and walking away from bad terms.

5. Experience managing or mentoring a small team, or clear readiness to do so

6. Professional English (written + spoken); Mandarin is a strong plus

IV. Nice to Have

1. Prior experience specifically with perpetual DEXs or derivatives products

2. Existing relationships with market makers, liquidity providers, or institutional trading desks

3. End-to-end IB program experience (recruitment → compensation design → performance tracking)

4. Familiarity with Base or other EVM-compatible ecosystems

V. Compensation

- Competitive salary , depending on experience and network strength - negotiable for strong candidates

- Performance incentives on top of base: commission/rev-share on volume driven through your IB network and onboarded traders/communities

- Remote 100%
