Search Engine Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled SEO Strategist to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our growing company, providing support in executing effective SEO strategies for a variety of clients. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in SEO principles and have the ability to grow into handling their own client strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute on-page SEO tasks, including keyword research and content optimization.

• Conduct technical SEO audits and implement necessary fixes.

• Perform internal linking and ensure proper indexing of web pages.

• Utilize tools like Screaming Frog to conduct site crawls and identify SEO opportunities.

• Develop content briefs and provide direction on SEO strategy for client projects.

• Conduct directory and citation audits as part of off-page SEO efforts.

• Collaborate with the team via Slack and utilize WordPress CMS as needed.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in SEO, with a focus on on-page and technical SEO.

• Strong understanding of SERP intent and keyword optimization.

• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, and experience with WordPress CMS.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client tasks effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Haves

• Previous experience in a digital agency setting.

• Experience with local SEO, particularly in legal fields like personal injury or criminal defense, is a plus.

• Ability to identify new SEO opportunities and contribute to client growth strategies.

• Experience working with Google Business Profile and citation management.

• Additional Information The role is full-time, with working hours from 9 to 5:30 Eastern Time.

While prior client-facing experience is not required, candidates should be prepared to manage client tasks and strategies independently. The role offers the opportunity to grow within the company and take on more responsibility over time.
