Computational Life Sciences Expert | $35/hr Remote

Position: Agentic Life Science Expert Type: Contractor Assignment Compensation: $35/hr (AHT 6-8 hrs) Location: Remote Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week), with at least 4 hours overlap during PST business hours

Role Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic agentic scientific workflows across the life sciences.

• Create multi-step computational scientific tasks requiring AI agents to inspect data, select methods, execute analyses, troubleshoot problems, and synthesize results.

• Develop realistic input files, scientific datasets, instructions, constraints, and expected deliverables.

• Create reproducible expert solutions and objectively verifiable ground truths.

• Design robust automated or semi-automated grading criteria.

Requirements

• Ph.D., postdoctoral, or equivalent research experience in the life sciences, with strong demonstrated computational and scientific-programming experience.

• Strong scientific programming experience, particularly in Python.

• Experience performing multi-step computational scientific analyses.

• Ability to independently validate both scientific reasoning and computational outputs.

• Experience working with scientific datasets, computational tools, and reproducible research workflows.
