Senior Software Engineer

Sastra Group is retained by a US based Cybersecurity business that has raised a new funding round and is looking to grow rapidly.

They have a small team of engineers in LATAM and are looking to add a Golang Software Developer to the team. The ideal candidate is proficient in backend development and Golang. You are self-motivated and a proven team player.

This role requires the candidate to speak English fluently, as it's a global team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang

• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements

• Use modern AI development tools to improve engineering speed and quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend/SaaS development

• Strong experience with Golang (Go) or a similar backend language

• Expertise in backend development, Object Oriented Programming, Database Design, and XML Schema

• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies

• Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar

• Start up experience is a big plus

• Fluent English is mandatory
