What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage day-to-day accounts using platforms like QuickBooks Online or Xero , categorizing expenses, clearing backlogs, and maintaining up-to-date general ledgers.

• Generate and issue client invoices, track incoming payments, manage retainer billing, handle vendor bill payments, and issue reminders.

• Process international transactions and manage funds using multi-currency payment platforms (e.g., Airwallex, Wise, Stripe).

• Prepare clean monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow reports) across multiple accounts or revenue streams.

• Assist with tax filing prep and compliance alignment specific to US (IRS/GAAP) or Australian (ATO/BAS) standards.

Who You Are:

• Proven track record working with foreign accounts—specifically US or Australian (AU) clients .

• Background as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Specialist, or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

• Advanced hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero .

• Practical experience handling multi-currency platforms (Airwallex, Wise) and international bank transfers.

• Flawless written and spoken English skills, meticulous attention to detail, and comfort managing remote workflows independently.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with US GAAP/IRS guidelines or Australian BAS/GST tax regulations.

• Experience in specialized niches like e-commerce, creative industries, SaaS, or professional services.

• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Google Workspace, Asana).
