Product Manager - AI Technology

Workster is partnering with an international technology company to recruit a Product Manager specialising in AI technology. In this role, you will shape and deliver products that use AI to solve customer needs and create meaningful value. You will work across product, engineering, design, data and business teams to turn opportunities into clear product plans and effective solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong product management experience, an understanding of AI and the ability to guide cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.

Your Role

• Define and deliver the product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered products and features

• Identify customer needs, market opportunities and business priorities to inform product direction

• Translate customer, business and technical requirements into clear product specifications and priorities

• Partner with engineering, design, data science and research teams to develop and launch product features

• Guide products through discovery, development, launch and ongoing improvement

• Evaluate how AI capabilities can address customer problems and contribute to useful, reliable product experiences

• Work with technical teams to understand AI model capabilities, limitations and dependencies

• Use customer feedback, product analytics and market research to identify opportunities and inform decisions

• Define product goals and success measures, and monitor performance after launch

• Make evidence-based prioritisation decisions, balancing customer value, business impact, technical feasibility and risk

• Coordinate product launches and communicate plans, decisions and progress to relevant stakeholders

• Identify product risks and dependencies, working with relevant teams to address them

• Keep up to date with developments in AI technology, product management and customer expectations

Your Qualifications

• Professional experience in product management, ideally within technology or digital products

• Experience taking products or features from discovery through launch and ongoing optimisation

• Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including their potential applications and limitations

• Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into clear product requirements and priorities

• Experience working closely with engineering, design, data or research teams

• Ability to use product data, customer feedback and market insights to guide decisions

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences

• Confidence working with cross-functional stakeholders and managing competing priorities

• Strong organisation and project management skills, with the ability to deliver in a changing environment

• Customer-focused approach, sound judgement and attention to detail

• Experience with AI-powered products or emerging technology is an advantage

• Familiarity with product analytics, experimentation or agile ways of working is an advantage

• Awareness of responsible AI, privacy or relevant regulatory considerations is an advantage

• Fluent English, both written and spoken
