A growing U.S. CPA firm specializing in franchise tax and accounting services is looking for a strong Senior or Staff Tax Preparer to join its team.

📍 Location: Remote 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time 🕘 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

🔹 What youll do: ✅ Prepare U.S. federal and state tax returns: 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S ✅ Review financials and supporting schedules to ensure accurate filings ✅ Prepare extensions, estimates, and amended returns ✅ Communicate directly with clients to gather information and clarify questions, including handling stressed or upset clients with professionalism ✅ Maintain organized workpapers and documentation ✅ Collaborate with tax managers and firm partners ✅ Take full ownership of your assigned tax work from start to finish

🔹 What were looking for: ⭐ 2+ years of experience preparing U.S.-based taxes ⭐ Solid knowledge of U.S. tax rules (not foreign or non-U.S. systems) ⭐ Experience preparing the individual and business returns listed above ⭐ Strong English communication skills with a clear accent
